Privacy Policy

Ramsalt Næring AS is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our tenants, partners, and employees. We process personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, including the Norwegian Personal Data Act and associated regulations. A data processing agreement is also provided as an appendix to the lease contract for our tenants.

2. Use of Personal Data

2.1 Registration and Collection of Personal Data

Ramsalt Næring AS processes the information provided when a company registers as an interested party or customer. This may include company name, contact person, company address/invoicing address, telephone number, and email address.

When recruiting for new positions, we process submitted CVs, applications, certificates, and references. This processing is based on the consent you provide when applying. Ramsalt Næring AS does not collect personal identification numbers, dates of birth, or information related to personal payment cards.

Processing of Personal Data Related to Bookings and Stays at Ramsalt Hot & Salty 

In connection with bookings made by you, or by others on your behalf, we process the personal data necessary for us to fulfil the agreement regarding your booking and the purchase of service. This includes information you have provided directly to us, or that you have supplied through a travel agency or external partner. We process, for example, information about your identity, your contact details, and your payment information. We also register all purchases and reservation you make with us - such as your choice of sauna, bar services, and similar - in order to deliver these services and to ensure that you are able to pay for them. 

We process this information for as long as necessary to fulfil the booking agreement with you, and additionally for as long as applicable laws or regulatory requirements oblige us to do so. We log the use of wristbands in our booking system. This is done to prevent crime and for safety reasons, including fire safety. 

2.2 Purpose of Processing

We use personal data to manage customer relationships and deliver the services you register for, including service delivery and invoicing.

2.3 Personal Data in Relation to Marketing

If you have consented to receive newsletters from us, we may send you updates based on that consent. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in each newsletter. Any other marketing activities by Ramsalt Næring AS are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation.

2.4 Website Tracking

Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to collect anonymous information and statistics about our visitors.

The data collected is anonymized before being stored on Google’s servers. It contains no personal information and cannot be linked to you as an individual. By default, this data is deleted after 26 months.

Purpose:
We use these tools to gain insight into how visitors use our website. The anonymized data helps us improve content, design, and user experience. It also provides information about traffic sources, enabling us to optimize our marketing.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display the location of our offices. Read more

If you are logged into a Google service (e.g., Gmail or Chrome), Google may store information about your interaction with the map. If location services are enabled on your browser or phone, Google may store your location.

Any interaction with the map—such as zooming in or clicking icons—may be stored by Google for future use.

3. Storage and Retention of Personal Data

Ramsalt Næring AS stores personal data in accordance with applicable legislation and maintains safeguards to ensure confidentiality, availability, and integrity. Personal data is only kept as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and never longer than permitted by law.

When we no longer have a legitimate need to store personal data, it will be deleted.

4. Disclosure of Personal Data – Duty of Confidentiality

We do not disclose personal data to third parties unless:

a) You have given consent
b) Required by law or regulation
c) Ordered by a court or public authority
d) Required for legitimate purposes such as payment collection

Confidentiality does not prevent Ramsalt Næring AS from sharing personal data with companies that, by agreement, handle technical or administrative operations of our services. When sharing data with such third parties, we ensure compliance with our data protection requirements through data processing agreements.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data Ramsalt Næring AS holds about you. You may also request correction, deletion, and transfer of your data in accordance with applicable law. Additionally, you may request restrictions on processing or object to certain types of processing.

If you believe Ramsalt Næring AS is not processing your personal data in accordance with this policy or applicable legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
