Terms and Conditions – Ramsalt Hot & Salty

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to purchases made through our website, including sauna session bookings, gift cards, and memberships. By completing a purchase, you accept these terms.

2. Sauna Session Booking

  • Bookings are binding and have to be cancelled at the least 24 hours before the booked time in order to be refunded.
  • It is possible to cancel bookings online via "My page" at ramsalt.no if the booking was made while being logged in with a user account, otherwise cancellation has to be done by sending an email to hotandsalty@ramsalt.no.
  • No-shows without cancellation will not be refunded.

3. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • They can be used for sauna bookings or membership purchases.
  • Unused balances will not be refunded after the expiry date.

4. Membership

  • Membership includes a monthly fee that is automatically charged via the selected payment method.
  • The membership has a binding period of 6 months from the start date.
  • After the binding period, the membership can be cancelled at any time with 1 month's notice.
  • Cancellation is done via “My Page” at ramsalt.no If you're on a mobile device, go to become a member to enter my page.
  • If cancelled before the binding period ends, the remaining months will be invoiced.
  • Membership provides discounted entry prices for the member and one guest accompanying the member.
  • Membership benefits apply only to the registered member and one accompanying guest, and cannot be transferred to others.

5. Payment

  • Payments are processed through secure payment solutions available on the website.
  • All prices are listed in NOK and include VAT where applicable.
  • If payment for membership is not received, access to services may be temporarily suspended.

6. Right of Withdrawal

  • Time-specific services (such as bookings) are not covered by the right of withdrawal under the Norwegian angrerettlov § 22 letter m.
  • For memberships and gift cards, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of purchase, provided the service has not been used.

7. Alcohol, Inspections and Rules of Conduct

  • Bringing or consuming your own alcohol on Hot & Salty premises is strictly prohibited. In accordance with Section 4-4 of the Norwegian Alcohol Regulations (alkoholforskriften), the consumption of alcohol brought onto licensed premises is prohibited.
  • Alcoholic beverages may only be purchased and served by Hot & Salty and must be consumed within the designated licensed area.
  • If there is reasonable suspicion of guests bringing their own alcohol onto the premises or consuming alcohol in violation of these rules, staff members or contracted security personnel may request that guests open their lockers, bags, or other personal belongings for inspection.
  • By accepting these terms and conditions, guests acknowledge that such inspections may be requested as part of the facility's safety and security procedures. Inspections will only be conducted with the guest's consent and in accordance with applicable laws.
  • If a guest refuses to cooperate with a reasonably justified inspection request, Hot & Salty reserves the right to terminate the visit and ask the guest to leave the premises.
  • Guests are required to follow staff instructions, respect other visitors, and behave in a manner that ensures the safety, comfort, and well-being of everyone at the facility.
  • Violations of alcohol regulations, repeated disruptive behaviour, threatening conduct, or other unsafe or irresponsible use of the facilities may result in immediate removal from the premises.
  • In cases of serious violations of the rules of conduct, guests may be removed without a refund of the ticket price, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Lost items

  • In general we don't keep lost towels and swimwear.
  • If we are not contacted about a lost item the same day it was lost it will be discarded.

9. Privacy

  • We process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions. Updates will be published on the website and apply from the date of publication.
